​Microsoft was judged by an independent panel of industry experts at the 2011 Cloud Computing World Series Awards, and has been chosen the Best Cloud Service for its Windows Azure platform. The prize was presented to the company during the first day of the 3rd Annual Cloud Computing World Forum, on 21st June, in Olympia, London.

The award reflects the investments Microsoft has been making in the development of Cloud solutions, which are allowing businesses to adopts cost-effective and yet reliable services.
